Our Cottages

The cottages are both the same design. A central living area includes a compact but well-equipped kitchen, with living area embracing the spectacular view. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with twin king single beds, and both bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, one of which features an easy-access shower, the other has shower over the bath.

The cottages have been designed with easy access in mind, and feature ramp entry with minimal door step, wider doorway and lower bench in the bathroom and easy access shower. A shower stool is available on request. The living area is generous and there is easy access out to the deck. Please contact us if you require further information.

Testimonials

  • Congratulations Ann on creating a very special place to stay. We enjoyed the magnificent view, the friendly and amazing birds and your undoubted attention to detail. Clearly ‘the place’ to stay in the region.

  • Absolutely the best place we have stayed in since our travels began in New Zealand some 6 weeks ago. Everything you could possibly need, including a bath which was very welcome after showering the whole time. It’s like home from home! Thank you very much

  • Just wanted to thank you for such a beautiful place to stay.  Cottage is lovely and the scenery amazing.  We couldn’t have had better weather.  Ate outside, with the birds, then sat outside until 9pm taking in the stars.  Out again at 7am mist, beautiful sunrise and lots of birds.  We took way too many photos, but it is a photographers paradise, especially with the weather we had.

  • Five Stars
Frog Gully Cottages are simply sensational! The outlook is to die for – sensational views from the living area & both bedrooms & I could have sat on the deck the entire time, watching the ducks, swans and other water birds going about the daily lives, and feeding the gorgeous rosellas, galahs etc was a joy! The cottages themselves are extremely clean, comfortable and cosy; Ann has truly thought of everything when it comes to making guests feel at home.
I wished I could have stayed longer and will definitely return.

  • Thanks for a lovely weekend. We really enjoyed the cabin, and especially the view. It was spectacular, and we were able to see it in so many different moods in such a short time. You have done an amazing job of fitting out the cottage as if you were living there, we found everything we needed, and appreciated the details such as quality linen, and blankets/doonas. No cheap polyester rubbish that looks good but just makes you hot. So thanks very much.

  • Loved our stay at Frog Gully. Great spot; loved the birds; RAAF put on a show for us and so relaxing. We think you have the mix just right!

  • An ideal place to fully enjoy the beautiful Australian countryside. This cottage is located on the grounds of a sheep farm with beautiful views of a small Lagoon. It is a gathering place for many special birds, so you're bbqing on your terrace while the cockatoos sit on a big branch in front of your terrace. The owner is incredibly hospitable, the cottage very clean and spacious, air conditioning, washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen. A place to recommend to everyone! Many walks can be made in the area, such as the Den or Nargun walk. Very recommended, do not forget to bring swimsuit to take a refreshing dip in the water of the Mitchell River! Magnificent.

  • We have just spent 4 nights in one of those special places that offered far far more than you were expecting.. We loved it! From the name of our cottage, Pobblebonk, to the sunsets it was all outstanding. The cottages overlook the wetlands teaming with life and FROGS, onto bush behind full of those beautiful Australian birds or being totally enthralled with cheeky birds on our deck. We were in awe of the colours and reflections from the wetlands, the sunsets and night sky. We were looking for some rest and peace and we got this in bucket loads here. We especially loved the quiet shared only with the amazing sounds of the bird life and frogs. The cottages were just lovely, warm and cosy for the chill of June, spacious and had everything a traveller needs, even wash powder to do some washing. The local area also has so much to offer from the spectacular 90 mile beach and the massive lakes tucked in behind to the green undulating farmlands inland, great local shopping centres. Frog Gully Cottages as an added bonus is in the country on a beef farm. While only 10 mins to Sale, you feel you are off the beaten track, in your own private space... Ann and Dallas are to be complimented for their foresight in what they have developed. We highly recommend this property.
